for the most part, it’s great. the local businesses and restaurants are great. the live music is great. downtown can be great. most of the people are great. the rent sucks. the hipsters kind of suck (but are easily ignored). the drunks suck (and are less easily ignored). the weather sucks (you are still in texas).
i’ve had some fun in austin, and some parts i will sorely miss, but...
