you never know what you’re gonna get when you trust someone. you don’t know what’s being said or thought behind your back, and people aren’t always as they say they are. people will make mistakes, and people will lie to your face. trust can be absolutely wonderful but the only person you can trust 100% is yourself. it’s a tough but essential lesson to learn.
