while i do enjoy having stretched ears, and plan on going up to 1/2” as soon as safely possible, i am not a huge fan of the smell. and it’s one of those things where… if you took the exact same smell, and knew it came from somebody else’s ears, your mind would make it smell so much worse. kind of like body odor. when you forgot deodorant back in middle school that one day and realized in the bathroom, “shit, i smell bad, i better keep this sweater on for the rest of the day,” it was never ANYTHING like the guy sitting next to you in class. (think, “how does he/she not know they smell that bad?”)
