on july 2nd local london ontario label HANDS is going to be releasing a split EP that i did with Graham Carter.
at the end of july, i guess in support of this split, i will be going on tour with rob ross (man-in-charge at hands, music-maker by the names Flora and itsagamble!). this will be my first tour ever, and in fact the first time i will have played a show outside my city residence. it will be roughly a week long towards the end of july, and cities will hopefully include windsor, london, guelph, hamilton, toronto, and maybe peterborough.
so if you happen to live in southern ontario and have heard of me in any way please try to come out to a show. i will have special limited CDs and homemade t-shirts.
it breaks my heart completely in two that Graham Carter can’t be here to perform with me.
if anyone works in print or radio or anything similar and wants the split in advance to review or play then please email me.
after these things i will start writing more songs. i don’t want to say that i plan on going in a new direction musically, but a new focus for sure. even if to you it sounds similar, the me it will have a different meaning than misery swimmingpool or all that i regret. that shit is over and exhausted and done.
that said, life is its own sort of ongoing tragedy and there will always be new tears to cry.
